Return to work or remote work? What's next for employees?

Share

The Workforce Mindset© Study was conducted in July 2020 to explore what American workers have to say about their jobs, total rewards and workplace dynamics. This year’s study also provides a glimpse into employee experiences and perceptions after the initial months of the pandemic, when many employees continued to work remotely, and some employers started planning for a potential return to work. Of course, many essential workers never left their place of work, but had to adapt to a different environment and set of requirements.

In this paper, we look specifically at those employees who are working primarily remote today (over 80% of time) due to COVID-19 but were not typically remote prior to the outbreak. We call this group “Primarily Remote due to COVID-19” (PRC) and compare this group to the total population responding to the survey and other segments, such as those sometimes working remotely or hardly ever working remotely.

You can view additional insights from Alight's upcoming Workforce Mindset© Study and sign up to receive a copy of the report when it is released later this year here.
