Alight recently hosted a webinar reviewing the 2025 Release 1 of Alight Worklife® and its host of new features for improving the employee digital experience. Release 1 focuses primarily on integrating advanced technologies, expanding program offerings and enhancing user interfaces to maximize the Alight Benefits Advantage.
Key Highlights of the 2025 Release 1
Integration with Microsoft Teams: Alight Worklife® is now integrated with Microsoft Teams, bringing personalized recommendations, an interactive virtual assistant and a new dashboard directly into the Teams environment. This integration ensures that employees have seamless access to essential benefits and account information throughout their workday.
Expanded Program Library: The Alight Partner Network (APN) has added new partners such as Journey, Carrot Fertility and Lyra, expanding the programs library. In the past, additional partners may have resulted in “benefits sprawl,” where more programs are added with no context for employees or employers. With Alight Worklife, users can now reduce that confusion with eligibility logic and configurable fields for client-specific updates.
Enhanced Shared-Access Experience: A new Shared Access feature allows users to grant their spouses or domestic partners access to a range of health, wellbeing and financial support services. This feature provides a seamless and secure experience, promoting better health and financial planning for families.
Modernized User Search Experience: The global search experience has been improved with new content type filters, a refined search feature and related searches, creating a more efficient and user-friendly search experience.
Leave Benefits and Balances: Leave benefits and balances are now available in Alight Worklife® web and mobile platforms, providing users with easy access to detailed information and promoting timely decision-making.
Automated Claims Processing: The reimbursement claims process has been transformed by automating document and claim processing with cutting-edge technologies and Generative AI. This update aims to improve accuracy and efficiency around claims resolution.
Redesigned Health Care Cost Summary Page: The Health Care Cost Summary page has been redesigned to provide transparency on health care expenses, helping participants understand their total health care spending. This update ensures a consistent and modern experience across the platform.
New Engagement Features: The release introduces new engagement features focused on simplifying choices, optimizing outcomes and improving productivity and efficiency through AI-based intelligent solutions. Organizations often encounter a “benefits impact gap” where their employees need to fully understand the benefits available to them. These engagement features, led by Alight LumenAI, help bridge the benefits impact gap by offering personalized solutions that guide employees to make the right choices at the right time.
